Victoria, or Tori as she prefers, has been a friend of Eladon Ltd for years now and has done marketing work for us in the past. We were delighted when we heard that Tori was taking up running again, as it used to be a passion of hers. When she was in her teens, Tori was classed in the top 4 in Welsh Athletics. Tori, now in her early twenties ran her first marathon with a boost from Elagen Sport, she made it to the finish in 4 hours and 1 minute. Read the blog she sent us below.
I am over-joyed to confirm that on the 29th April 2015 I completed the Manchester marathon in 4 hours 1 minute, and I am still standing! The race was absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere, support and energy from the crowds was brilliant and really pushed me with every step through the race, and of course I could not have done it without the support of Elagen Sport. Below I will give you a quick brief of those vital few days before the race;
1 week prior to the race: So, I topped up on my Elagen Sport dosage stepping up to 2 capsules a day to get the maximum benefit from the product.
Alongside this I was doing some serious carb loading and drinking copious amounts of fluids in preparation to keep my body hydrated on the day.
The day before the race I took 4 Elagen Sport capsules and then finally 1 before my race.
This combined with my positive mindset, had me raring to go and eager to push myself to complete the marathon in my personal best time.
I was very pleased with my results, must admit a tad disappointed I did not break the 4 hours mark (was so close!!) although this is something to aim for in marathon no 2! I would recommend any non-marathon runner to give it a go, what a fantastic challenge! - Tori.
