It been over 30 years since Richard Ross first formed the company Eladon and created our prime product, Elagen.

Where we begun

In the early 90s, Richard Ross was traveling in Africa and began researching health supplements after being given an incredibly powerful herbal drink in Lusaka containing an adaptogen called Eleutherococcus senticosus, aka Eleuthero or known to some as Siberian Ginseng. Upon returning to the UK, Richard was determined to harness the benefits of Eleuthero. However, his quest proved more challenging than expected. He found that available products often lacked standardised potency, with many containing crude extracts that varied widely in their active ingredient levels.

Frustrated by the lack of consistency, Richard sought expertise from global leaders in medicinal plants, such as Dr. Stephen Fulder (then head of research at the Moscow Cancer Research Institute). Their collaboration led to the making of Elagen, a pure, standardised form of Eleuthero meticulously developed based on rigorous scientific research.

Inspired by insights from around the world, including valuable learnings from a Cosmonaut Training Centre, where Eleuthero was integral to astronaut training regimes! - Eladon's journey continues to uphold a commitment to quality and innovation.

Today, more than 30 years later, our commitment to health remains as strong as ever. Alongside our flagship product Elagen, we introduced Elagen Sport and a selection of other highly regarded supplements and wellness products on our online shop.
