...the Elagen Effort!

Wednesday 28th August saw the return of the Ellerdine Effort, a fast and flat 5k in the village of Ellerdine near Telford.The evening was cool after a couple of showers but the sun came back out and it was near perfect conditions for a race.I crossed the line, smashing my 5k PB by some 11 seconds. I’d gone into this race with a best of 22:32 and come out of it better off for a 22:21 of which I was rightly proud as a 47-year-old who has only been running for two and a half yearsand first recorded a 5k of 32:15 in 2017. A personal best at the Stafford half marathon

Sunday 17th March saw me enter my second Stafford half marathon. I'm only two years in to my running career at the age of 46, following a successful weight loss journey but that's a story for another day. I learned a lot since my first half marathon, Birmingham in late 2017 which I ran in 2:08.18. A couple at 1:58 and Birmingham 2018 saw me set a new PB of 1:52 which I superseded this weekend with a well-planned 1:47.21.     This race was all about planning and preparation on the build up to the 2019 Virgin London Marathon, my second VLM, only my second marathon. Running gave me a sense of worth

I reached out to Eladon at the beginning of 2019 and was very interested in trying their highly recommended adaptogen supplement Elagen Sport. I can honestly say that I’m loving taking Elagen Sport.
