Echinacea is a traditional herb which has been long associated with the symptomatic relief of colds and upper respiratory tract infections. Active components have been identified as cichoric acid, polysaccharides and alkylamides.
Echinacea should be taken at the very first sign of illness or infection. It is not generally recommended that people supplement with Echinacea over long periods as this may undermine the body’s natural immunity.
Echinacea has earned itself a world-wide reputation and was one of our first choices when it came to building and adding to our Elagen range.
